I’ve been in your shoes when planning a wedding. I know how overwhelming it can feel with the endless decisions that have to be made. I also know how exciting and fun creating the ‘perfect day’ is! I’m on a mission to make your wedding experience as fun and stress-free as possible!

I stumbled upon the world of wedding planning while crafting my own wedding back in 2018. Since I was a project manager by day, I found building the timeline and organizing all of the details a thoroughly enjoyable experience. While it was certainly a team effort - my now-husband and many friends and family members helped along the way - I learned so much from the process. After the wedding, I missed having a large creative event like that to work on, so I started offering my planning and coordinating services to friends and colleagues. I quickly fell in love with helping couples through the wedding process, shaping the day-of timelines, and coordinating with their vendors to make their events seamless and fun.

In the summer of 2024, I launched Samantha Gruwell Weddings full-time to serve a wider array of clients on the path to marriage. My goal is for couples to feel confident in their choices as they prepare for their weddings. As a partner in the planning process, I help uncover goals and priorities, providing timelines and to-do lists that work without the overwhelm. I work closely with vendors and communicate clearly the expectations for the wedding day so everyone is on the same page and can execute a seamless experience for couples and their guests.

Wedding planning has allowed me to combine my background in art, creativity, and project management with my passion for customer service and experiences. I’ve been fortunate to work with amazing couples and collaborate with incredibly talented and passionate vendors, such as florists, photographers, caterers, and venues. Wedding production is a team sport, and I love bringing people together to create events and experiences that inspire, engage, and entertain!
